Is Vistaril a apposite sleep aid?

I was prescribed Vistaril for use for anxiety as needed during PMS. For times gone by two weeks, I haven't been competent to sleep more than several hours a night, and I've be afraid to take the Vistaril because I filch Dilantin. Is Vistaril good to back one fall asleep? If so, how long does it lift effect? (I just took one give or take a few 10 minutes ago, and I feel impressively calm and sedated, but not sleepy all the same.)Is Vistaril a apposite sleep aid?
