A pillow is adjectives for maintaining proper alignment of your cervical spine near the rest of your vertebral column. You should maintain the best posture base on how you sleep.
If you sleep on your side, you would want the pillow there to move up your head to the proper position. But if you sleep on your backbone, you may not need a pillow at adjectives.
When it comes to pain from posture, you wouldn't perceive it for years of continued misalignment. So just because you don't be aware of it now, doesn't mingy you won't feel (and regret) it after that in enthusiasm
It's thing of comfort it is not a must. I use one. I don't similar to them to high sort of standard size.
Hard bed usually require a soft, not too high a surface beneath, it help a better breathing during the night, although its not a must, and it doesn't build a difference, unless you feel self-conscious yourself.I don't use a pillow atall. No specific pros and cons, make sure if you sleep minus a mattress below, you have something soft below your head.
Cervical spine get extended under gravity. Pillow keep it in resting position.
If your body is going to be surrounded by one position for an extended period of time it is better if the spine is straight. Your airway also wants to be straight and open to allow upright airflow while breathing. It doesn't have to be a pillow, any raise objections that elevates the go before slightly would do the trick.
