Potassium titrate has the formula: K3C6H5O7
There are 258.6 mg potassium titrate/tablet
How various tablets do you need to catch 20 milliequivalents of potassium titrate?Milliequivalent?
Answer: 7.9 tablets (round up to 8 tablets)
Here's how I did it:
First: find the molecular weight of the formula (306.4)
Next: Divide it by 3 since you enjoy 3 potassiums (102.13)
Next: multiply by the mEq you need(102.13*20=2042.67) (This represents the mg you need)
Finally, divide by 258.6 since there are that plentiful mg/tab
2042.67/258.6=7.9
